Enterprise Search · Driven by Nexus

One search. Every answer.

Knowledge does not live in one place. Documents pile up in shared drives, decisions hide in email, procedures sit in wikis, and critical records live in domain systems, each with its own interface, permission model, and blind spots. Keyword search returns files, not answers.

The challenge

A discovery problem, not a data problem

Employees search tool after tool, re-asking questions already answered elsewhere. Knowledge that exists somewhere in the organisation simply cannot be surfaced, and keyword engines have no understanding of how information connects across systems.

Your answers already exist. Nexus makes them findable. One search box reaches every connected source, understands the terminology of the domain it is searching, and returns an answer with its citations attached rather than a list of files to open.

Nexus · how it works

Signal to decision

Data on its own is noise. Nexus connects the dots into information, applies your context to make it knowledge, and hands you the decision already framed.

02Information

Nexus connects the dots: entities resolved, duplicates collapsed, relationships mapped.

9 sources joined

03Knowledge

Your context is applied: sites, thresholds, obligations, history. Now the pattern means something.

3 rules matched

04Decision

So the next step is already framed: one action, one owner, one deadline.

24h to act

Fused

Matches from every channel merged into one ranked result set, with no silos and no duplicates.

Ranked

Ordered by relevance with a model that learns from how your organisation actually searches.

Synthesised

The strongest evidence composed into a direct answer, not a list of links to open.

Cited

Every statement traces to its exact source, section and page, so nothing is taken on trust.

Connected

One graph relates every entity, document and decision. Relationships are first-class, not buried in text.

Decisions, captured

Decisions and the rationale behind them are structured and linked to the evidence that drove them.

Temporal

The graph remembers, tracking how entities, decisions and documents change over time, with full history and versioning.

Compounding

Every new source makes the graph richer, not just bigger.

How it works

From indexing to a cited answer

One pipeline, end to end: content is indexed, stored in a single engine, retrieved across channels, then synthesised into a cited answer. Domain-tuned models and a general orchestration model work together throughout.

Domain-tuned models

Per-domain entity extraction, vocabulary and ranking: Financial, R&D, Compliance, Engineering, and more. Each module understands its own terminology.

General model

General semantic search, channel fusion and ML ranking, plus the orchestration that routes each query to the right domain model and synthesises the answer.

One pipeline from source to cited answer.

One estate, two questions

Ask the estate. And govern it.

You are here

Enterprise Search

Ask the estate: cited answers computed inside your permissions, from everything your business knows.

The other half

Data Governance

Govern the estate: the same corpus read against your data policies, every breach owned and fixed.

The graph

Watch it answer

Duplicates merged, the path lit hop by hop, sources cited, and the answer never crosses a permission you do not hold.

Security and compliance

Permission enforced at every step

No user can discover or access content they are not authorised to see in the source system. Enforcement is built into retrieval, including within the graph.

  • Source-faithful permissionsExtracted from each system, canonicalised into cryptographic fingerprints.
  • Graph-level checksFingerprints verified at every traversal hop. Unauthorised nodes are invisible.
  • Delegated credentialsSearches run under the user’s own credentials, so the source system enforces access directly.
If you cannot see it at the source, you cannot see it in Nexus.
Data sovereignty
  • All AI on-premises: Embedding, extraction, synthesis run in-cluster. No external APIs.
  • Encrypted in transit: TLS 1.3 to the gateway; mutual TLS between all internal services.
  • Encrypted at rest: Disk encryption; secrets in an HSM-backed key vault.
  • No secrets in config: Credentials mounted at runtime, never in files or env vars.
  • Prompt-injection safe: Queries and content are delimited; they cannot alter instructions.
Performance

Fast, and consistent under load

Performance is more than a single latency number. We engineer and measure it across query speed, concurrency and indexing, end to end.

Query latency

Measured as TTFB and TTLB. First content streams in fast; the full cited answer completes shortly after, scaling with length.

Concurrency

Throughput holds across many concurrent users. Search stays responsive under sustained load, with no latency cliffs.

Indexing

New and changed content is ingested and made searchable continuously. Indexers scale independently of query serving.

Personalised ranking

Ranking that learns from how you work

Every click, dwell and skip is a signal. A model trained on your real search behaviour continuously re-ranks results, so the answers people actually want rise to the top. It sharpens automatically over time, with no manual tuning required.

  • Gets sharper with use: ranking improves continuously as behaviour accumulates. The system that is used most works best.
  • Usage analytics: top queries, zero-result queries, click-through and per-source performance, to guide improvement.
  • Optional admin control: ranking rules, promoted results, synonyms and Q&A pairs, for teams that want to tune by hand.
  • Every percentile from p50 to p99 tracked with OpenTelemetry, not just averages.
